EuroNMC: A New European Network for Neuromorphic Computing
The European Network for NeuroMorphic Computing (EuroNMC – COST Action CA25118) officially started on 25 September 2026, bringing together expertise across Europe to strengthen collaboration in neuromorphic computing. The Action aims to reduce barriers between disciplines, align bio-inspired concepts with suitable hardware and architectures, identify applications and benchmarks, and strengthen Europe’s role in neuromorphic computing and AI.
NeuroSYNC is part of the Action and leads Working Group 5, focused on Training, Education and Resource Pooling. LinkedIn
EuroNMC's activities are organised across six Working Groups covering the neuromorphic computing landscape:
WG1: Foundations & Theoretical Models: Computational Neuroscience Concepts and Computational Limits
WG2: Neuromorphic Devices & Circuits
WG3: Neuromorphic Architectures & Brain-Inspired Algorithms
WG4: Applications & Use Cases, Evaluation & Benchmarking
WG5: Training, Education and Resource Pooling
WG6: Dissemination & Outreach: Strategic Coordination and Policy Alignment
Researchers interested in contributing can apply to join one or more Working Groups through the COST Action page.
