NeuroWare - the UK Innovation & Knowledge Centre in Neuromorphic Computing has published the UK Roadmap for Neuromorphic Computing: 2050 Vision. Developed through engagement with more than 100 stakeholders from academia, industry, government and the wider innovation ecosystem, it sets out five strategic themes and 26 aims, with actions for government, academia and industry in the near, medium and long term.

The launch panel focused on three things: building sovereign UK capability, raising awareness of neuromorphic computing among the public and future talent, and a more coordinated approach across academia, industry, government, regulators and investors.

As we set out last issue, the 2050 Vision and NeuroSYNC's UK Neuromorphic Computing Roadmap work on different time horizons. NeuroWare's roadmap looks at the long-term technology and policy landscape. NeuroSYNC's is a living ten-year view built on research foundations and industrial application requirements. Read together, they give the community both the destination and the next steps.
