About the event
NeuroSYNC at the International Workshop on ML, AI and Neuromorphic Computing
Members of the NeuroSYNC community participated in the International Workshop on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Neuromorphic Computing, held from 19–21 May 2026 at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB), Palma de Mallorca, Spain, as part of the POSTDIGITAL+ Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network.
NeuroSYNC community members involved in the event included Egor Manuylovich (Aston University), Antonio Hurtado (University of Strathclyde), Natalia Berloff (University of Cambridge), Lorenzo Pavesi (University of Trento), Apostolos Argyris (IFISC–UIB), Claudio Mirasso (CSIC–UIB), and Natalia Manuilovich (Aston University).
Through scientific presentations, expert discussions, round-table sessions and contributions to the organisation of the workshop, members of the NeuroSYNC community shared expertise spanning photonic neuromorphic computing, physical computing platforms, reservoir computing, artificial intelligence and emerging approaches to brain-inspired information processing.
The workshop provided an opportunity for NeuroSYNC researchers to engage with the wider European neuromorphic computing community, exchange…
